Ancient bronze warrior belonging to the Hellenistic-Roman age.

This small sculpture in cast bronze is still covered with a shiny dark green and compact coat. The figure depicts a standing warrior leaning on his right leg, while his left leg is bent and slightly set back. The arms are wide apart from the torso and outstretched. The figure wears a large helmet and an armour that leaves the legs uncovered. The specimen is intact in all its parts except for a small missing piece from its left hand which was lost during the course of the centuries.

The work was analysed by the Nucleo Carabinieri Tutela Patrimonio Culturale of Florence and resulted to be legally sourced. Also, it has obtained the approval for sale by the Soprintendenza Archeologica Belle Arti e Paesaggio per la città metropolitana di Firenze e le province di Pistoia e Prato.

Although the work is not protected by constrain from the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali,  it cannot be exported outside the Italian national territory.
