Archeology

From the Greek word archaios – ancient, and logia – speech, the word archaeology means, “Discourse on the past”. Talking of the past, as well as researching and collecting its fragments, indicates not only a refined understanding of ancient history but as well and above all a profound sensitivity to the first roots of art. Nowadays, great collectors, international museums and private foundations seek archaeological objects in the antique markets, being these works very rare; this is the reason why governments all over the world closely monitor and catalog them.
